Sometimes when designing something, I often find myself saying 'Because... why not.' in reference to a choice I'm making in functionality, aesthetics, or some other small portion of the overall project...

Whoever designed this firearm, if he/she is still alive... I'd like a drink with that person.

To anyone that knows general knowledge about firearms and how they 'normally' function, will understand right away, and why when I saw this sitting at the table at a past gun show... I had to pick it up for the pure... 'wait what?' factor. (That and it only cost me $75 out the door because it was missing an extractor, more on that later/another deviation.)

Bonus points if someone can correctly name the make/model.
