Because the convenience of online play is becoming a shot in the foot to games that used to be KNOWN for their awesome split screen multiplayer fun.I got SSX today and it is REALLY good! No major complaints to report. BUT! The ONLY THING that it needs is split screen. I've noticed EA removed Split Screen out of most of their games.
Need For Speed being a good example of this.
