I love me some Watership down!Most violent rabbit-related thing on this planets!
Tried to think how I could portray the Black Rabbit (essentially the Bunny Grim Reaper). Thought this was maybe a nifty shot at it!
If you can't see the rabbit in the abstract lines, here's an attempt I made to try and make it easier to spot (hopefully!)

I'm in love with you right now. Watership Down? I LOVE your design and your take on the Black Rabbit! It feels whimsical and ethereal to me, yet sinister--which is exactly what I believe a rabbit of death may seem like.

Gahh - That was exactly the intent of the pic - being more whimsical despite being the Bunny grim reaper, yet with with elements of forbidding and most of all, ethereal. That was pretty much my rationale behind this. :']

Just regular pencil. :]
I had to stop and sharpen every five minutes, since I hadn't known of the awesome of mechanical pencils!
(If you can't see the rabbit itself, I'll make a quick 'deciphering' guide if you want - since a lot of people couldn't find it among the swirls )

I'd like to see that, since I'm having trouble seeing the rabbit in the design itself. I'm not saying it's bad though! I could stare at this piece all day.

When it's one of these swirly designs, it's always pencils. I do these things when I get a sudden creative spark when listening to music, and then, I just grab a pencil and let my hand just kind of "feel" the textures of the music, and they end up in a swirly. :']
YESH. Mechanical pencils made this a lot easier for later things. It's such a creative roadblock to have to stop to sharpen, it's like hitting a speed bump. xD
Yeah sure, will do that now. :]
Pffft, even if it was terrible, by all means say so, rip it to shreds and that way I can improve!

I'll admit I didnt connect it with the black rabbit initially, but thats mostly because of the movies art style. much less line much more fill.
Your line work is still excellent. The sharp tips you added to everything do wonders too!

Yeah, I think a lot of people I've shown this too have no idea what it's supposed to be, so I have to make out the head, eyes, hands, legs, etc - I might upload a kkind of "guide"to see the bunny! xD

It's about a small group of bunnies that try to find a safe, new placeto live while escaping (what's basically) the Nazi regime of the Bunny world. xD

It's very bunneh reaper =3 Have only watched the animated movie of Watership Down, I have yet to read the book. Black Rabbit wasn't featured that much in the movie, but I've read up on him. ^^
