For this week on new art for Power Rangers, I now go back to the Saban Era, and do a Ranger design from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, since by now, I have already done three of the six Rangers. I present to you my design of Dana Mitchell, the Pink Lightspeed Rescue Ranger. She is by far one of the best written characters of the show, and one who has earned her place in the top Pink Rangers. This girl was the first Ranger seen on-screen, was able to fight her brother to a draw, and, her best moment in my opinion, taking on a gunner in a bus and managing to make him turn over a new leaf. I just had to try and do her design. For her, I did her own V-Lancer as well as the main sidearm for the Lightspeed Rangers, the Rescue Blaster, in its sword mode. We hardly got to see both used at once, so I wanted to make sure that honor went to Dana before I eventually do the other Lightspeed Rangers. More on her helmet, V-Lancer, and especially the Rescue Blaster, will be explained later on in the week when I show off the leftover pieces for this design as time goes on, but for now, here is my design of the Pink Lightspeed Ranger.
