For today's entry into Power Rangers art, I decided to go back and continue doing some of the Rangers that I had lost from my original flash drive. Here is one of my favorite Red Rangers, Bowen, aka Nick Russell, of the Mystic Force Rangers. When I was considering him, I was looking through new shots of him to do, and I found that it was really hard to find a full profile shot of him that did not have his arms covering the rest of his body, something I am aiming to get right. I did find the right shot in the end, and was able to apply as much more detail to it than my first design. For this, I took away the shield that I gave to him last time. It is a good shield, but if I were to ever redo the Red Dragon Fire Ranger, that would be where I reuse the shield, and possibly a new sword. Speaking of swords, I did a different variation of his Magi Staff Sword, which was based on the Fury Edition of the weapon. When I first saw it, I saw how well it worked if it were wielded by Nick specifically, and knew that would be the weapon for him compared to the original version. I plan to recolor this into the original version nonetheless, but he looks so good with this version of the Magi Staff Sword. I even also redid the helmet with some more detail than what I had on the last version, which I also think looks good. Both of them will be explored more later as the week goes on. For now, this is my brand-new better version of the Red Mystic Ranger, one of my favorites in the Disney Era. What do you think? Please enjoy!
