Today, for my new Power Rangers art, I have yet another new entry into the Rangers of Power Rangers SPD. This here is JJ Oliver, the son of Tommy Oliver and Katherine Hilliard, as he was seen at the end of the graphic novel, Soul of the Dragon, when he combined the powers remaining from the Master Morpher with his own Morpher, to become the SPD Green Dragon Ranger. This was a piece that took me a while to get done, due to the fact that such a piece with this pose never existed. I used two different pictures, one of the Green SPD Ranger and the other of the Green Dragon Ranger, both in similar poses, to make the piece you see here. I wanted to have him with the Dragon Dagger originally, but decided the Deltamax Striker Baton would be the better choice. The helmet and baton, plus an extra piece from here, will be featured later throughout the week. I am honestly a big fan of the SPD Green Ranger with the Dragon Shield. It makes him look powerful, and further emphasizes that he is the son of Tommy Oliver. Funny enough, this was one of the most popular pieces I had earlier done in 2018. Now that I have redone it in a full-body pose, I can see why so many people like it. I really hope you like this call-back to that piece, and the hard work that I put into here. What do you think?
