Alright this is was a collaboration with alternatehistorybuff involving an interesting scenario where a werewolf pandemic occurred in late WW2.

December 1938, a patient somewhere in Nazi Germany shows signs of unusual disease. Within hours the man was turning pale and throwing up blood and soon the doctors caring for him began to find out that he had an seemingly unknown virus. The next day German officials had taken the now dead man's away and once it was at a secure location they ran tests on it and confirmed that the man had died due to a virus that medical officials could not identify.

This new spreading fast in government circle. Starting from head of the Hospital to the ears of Hitler. A division was formed to further learn more about the unknown virus. Patient zero's status itself remain classified in public, even his family. As World War 2 still occurs, this secret division, unbeknownst to the general public has conducted several experiments within concentration camps, POW camps, etc. Later they found out that this is not an ordinary virus, some of whom consider that the virus infected humans, turning them into hosts along with their consciousness, but altering the host's body, organs, and behaviour. One of the experiment went wrong with 2 scientist being killed by the infected host. The infected slowly becoming less humans and more of resembling half wolves.

1943, the Axis campaign in the Soviet Union didn't went as planned, the tide began to turns against Germany. With the unthinkable happening to the former test subjects, the head of the division quickly made the decision not to tell the research division, afraid they would report it to Berlin and that Hitler would see it as a weapon for the war. Knowing that if the virus were to get into the hands of the German government and military they would unintentionally end up destroying everything they had worked so hard to build.

But eventually, these secret began to unfold. After years of experimenting, in 1944, Hitler and his inner circles becoming suspicious of what the research team are doing. Unfortunately, in one of the concentration camps, a mole, within the team, unveiled the whole secret that the secret division has been doing since 1939. Distrusted and feeling betrayed, Hitler dissolved the division and executed the head of research team. Eventually, the project was taken over by the military, and you know what they're going to do with it.

When the SS soldiers arrived at one of the facility, they came in without warning and found out some of the scientists in the research division were working with the former experimenting division but it was found out that they had destroyed all of their research on the virus so that the German military and government would get nothing of use. A couple of hours after they had arrived the SS were able to break down the doors leading into the experimenting area of the facility however guards loyal to the head of the experimenting division were in there to guard what was in there.

Soon a fight broke out in between the guards and the SS soldiers and while all of this was happening some people in the experimenting part of the facility closed and resealed the doors to the experimenting divisions part of the facility in order to not let the SS soldiers get anything in there and so that they would get no prisoners from that section in effect sealing their fate and intoumbing them in there side of the facility.

Despite this the SS were able to get what they could from the facilities research section before burning the facility to the ground. By the time they handed what they were able to retrieve in time to hitler and his inner circle they were desperate to turn the tide of the war in the favor of the Reich because of this hitler ignored the fact that they only had some information about the virus that was retrieved. Despite the warnings from hitlers inner circle and generals about developing a bioweapon with only a little information hitler just dismissed them and the german army went ahead with developing a bioweapon with the research and samples of the virus that the SS were able to retrieve from the facility. Development of the bioweapon occurred at where the V-2 rockets were being tested.

1944 saw the Allied campaign in Normandy. German troops exhausted, low on supply, everything that's worse. Hitler then ordered production the bioweapon to be ramped up and started thinking of a massive military offensive to push back the allies and the soviets and to use the bioweapon in the offensive. Hitler talked to his generals about it and they agreed and began planning a massive offensive larger than operation barbarossa in Italy as well as eastern and western europe. It took about a month to fully plan the offensive which was now named Operation Bismarck.

In 30th August, 1944, Operation Bismarck commenced. Bioweapon containing the virus is released in all Western and Eastern Front. Nightmare is unleashed. Early September 1944, many US, French, British, Red Army and other allied troops were infected, dead, turned werewolves, etc. A suspected bioweapon-carrying u-boat is destroyed by British Destroyer, unfortunately, the u-boat is not the real target. Germans has smuggled some canister of bioweapons in a supply ship departing from France to Britain, and a supply ship returning from Portugal to United States.

When the bioweapons reached Britain and United States, their government shocked. United States began their process of quarantining whole East Coast. Britain began closing their cities and starting a mass evacuation of citizen to Scotland or abroad, Royal Family fled to Canada.

Meanwhile Eastern Front remains static. Yes, Soviet advance has stopped, yet also pushed back, but werewolves in the area start to getting out of control, and soon they began attacking the Reich proper. Unfortunately for Germany, industrial centers of Rhineland and surrounding area is now invested with werewolves and dead allied bodies, pushing them further apart in the jungles. As of late 1945, the casualties peaked. Europe is all but doomed. Werewolves already reached as far as the Balkans and advancing in Moscow, Leningrad, and Stalingrad. Military governments is present and the remaining allied forces starts to retreat.

Germany is, well, you can say the last functioning government, though Berlin itself is fully abandoned with more-paranoid Hitler moves to the deep mountains in the South, while Himmler commands it's remaining forces in the northern coasts of Germany, including Hamburg. Switzerland is invaded in late 1944, and automatically turning Zurich into de-facto German capital. Those who have colonies moved its government abroad, fortress cities were built, considering how fast the virus spread. In a last ditch effort to stop the virus from spreading more into Asia and Africa, the United States detonated 3 atomic bombs: Paris, Madrid, and London (by the request of British martial authority). This time the detonation happened in the ground, for maximum range of radiation and destruction. They do stopped some advances by the werewolves in iberian peninsula and British Isles.

In the US, a brutal uprising occurred, some of them wants the government to be more serious, and some of them, well, they just want to mess around. The US quickly fall under military regime. Spreading in East Coast has stopped, but expanding in the north, causing the Royal Family to move once again to Australia. In Soviet Union, their holdings in Europe just simply abandoned and they also moved their governments as well as remaining citizens to Siberia and Asia, making the Ural mountains effectively a fortress.

Even though the war in Europe (de-facto) ended, the war with Japan still continues. With the US out of the war for a while, Soviet Union began their advances, along with the Second Chinese United Front. United States then re-enter the war for a short period, launching a island hopping campaign along with the Dutch and British in the East Indies, and they're just stopped and signing an armistice, left them (Japan) completely under Soviet hands. China then enters the state of civil war with the US secretly supporting the kuomintang, beginning the Allied split. This civil war ended once again in an armistice called the Yangtze Armistice.

It's 1962, United Nation was formed in just one goal, bringing back Europe. World nations scrambles for the last resort, colonial governments began to decline, as they suffered from native uprising, yet cannot give them independence. French government in Dakar felt betrayed by Britain and the US for bombing Paris for not so obvious reason, but they need them in order to keep the French Empire together. Soviet Union is, as the US, under military government as well seek to "Reclaim The Motherland". The United States powers its war machine with bloody guerilla campaign in Central America as well as occupation of Mexico. Nuclear weapon production increases, as in 1970s, United States, United Kingdom (British in exile), and Soviet Union planned to launch an atomic saturation bombing of Europe, to wipe the werewolves away. Some emergency government in Europe unfortunately didn't know this. Himmler's government in the North aware that Allied atomic bombings of Europe means the end of their regime, they have no choice but to flew somewhere, they want to inform Hitler's Reich in the South, but they've lost contact since 6 months ago, meanwhile, Hitler became more paranoid and even shoots its own men, suspecting "werewolf infiltration" in his chain of command.

The world faces years without Europe, with fear of full werewolf apocalypse, fortresses in Europe has been a hotspot for decade as heroes born and fall to fight the demons that present in their former homelands. In French Gabon, young German-descent teenager is recently committing mass killings after being labeled as "child of the demon creator" and years of abuse by the environment, native uprising in Congo quickly disappears a few days after a cargo plane carrying mustard gas arrived at Kinshasa, and with the recent invasion of Bulgaria, American supply trucks and tankers arrived daily from Central America, deep in Siberia, Soviet Union tested their second atomic bomb. An ordinary day just passed.
