Today would have been the day that Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway would have been released into theaters. The Coronavirus came along and delayed a lot of movies from every movie company's state. Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway is now being delayed to 2021 with movies like Morbius and Ghostbusters: Afterlife being released of next year. Venom 2 used the lucky one to not get delayed from Sony's slate and now delayed to June 25, 2021 with a new title Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Peter Rabbit 2 was suppose to be released in August til it got delayed again.Also, The New Mutants was suppose to come out today. Bad luck that it got delayed for the 4th time. Speaking of The New Mutants, it's one of those unlucky films that got their film delayed over and over again. If The New Mutants and Deadpool 2 were avoided from being released each other back in 2018, how come Marvel Studios released two films that were promoting at the same time like 2008's Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk and 2017's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming?

Peter Rabbit 2 was even planned to be released in August 2020 but with Sony pushing Ghostbusters Afterlife to Spring 2021 they changed the Peter Rabbit 2 release date.
Peter Rabbit 2 should have gone to direct to DVD/Blu-Ray.

Trolls World Tour come out in theaters and demand on the same day. I don't know how well that film is gonna do. Last time when Penguins of Madagascar flopped, they have to release two films a year. This fate will lead DreamWorks to release one film every year in their new policy. I could be wrong on that.

Trolls: The Beat Goes On is on Netflix. There was going to be another spin-off series Trollstopia, but pushed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

So CGI is longer the cel/2-D animation? I bet the next seasons of animated prime time cartoons The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, Duncanville, Bless the Harts, and South Park are in the can for Fall 2020 and 2021.
