I love how she has the guitar pick strapped around her hoof lol. What is she holding in her left hoof? I'm assuming it's some sort of device to help her hit the strings since, of course, ponies don't have fingers?

Yeah, pretty much. I'm not really sure what it is either. tygerbug says it's some sort of slide to help with the chords.

It must be a glass slide-bar, then. It helps smooth out the sound of sliding up and down the neck.
