I missed that when it was originally presented. I just think that Marvel and DC both are pushing these universe-altering events too far. People want the characters they know and both companies seem to be going out of their way to do away with that.

in what time line? I own the Original Savage She-hulk #1 from the 80s and that was Jen.

actually I started with Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk and Betty Ross became She Hulk

that is the ultimates Universe, and hardly qualifies Betty as the first she-hulk. Both because the Ultimate Universe didn't come around until the year 2000 and because it mostly went belly up. Far as i know the only 2 surviving scraps of that universe left are Ultimate Spider-Man and black Nick Fury (yes he used to be a white guy), aside from appearances in other comics or in the current secret wars stuff. So, no Betty was not the first she-hulk... and to be accurate Betty Ross wasn't the first She-hulk in the Ultimate time line she was the only She-Hulk in that time line. So... to be entirely accurate you'd have to postulate that the She Hulk above was the Ultimate Universe She-Hulk.
That Said, she really couldn't as there are very Key differences between the two, the first being height, While Jennifer Grows to 6'7" as She-Hulk, Betty in the Ultimate Universe appears to stay the same height of 5'6"... so that would mean the height is kinda off in this pic for that, but lets chalk that up to perspective or some such thing. the other difference I have noted is While Jennifer Has Dark Green Hair as the She-Hulk, Betty has Light Green Hair, thus discounting the idea this could be betty. Which in turn makes this whole scenario above rather insestuous... ew.
