True. I forget exactly which issue it was, but was during John Byrne's run as writer/artist on Fantastic Four (during which She-Hulk was subbing for Ben, who was off doing... I forget what exactly).

The comic even mentioned a real-life incident during the filming of the first Star Trek pilot, "The Cage". They wanted to do make-up tests on Susan Oliver (Vina) to find what color green they wanted her during her "Orion slave girl" sequences. So they painted her green, filmed a test, and sent the film off for developing. The tests came back as her normal skin color! So "Paint her greener!" The tests kept coming back normal color! It was finally learned that the lab tech developing the film, unaware that the woman in the shot was supposed to be green, kept "correcting" the output until it looked "normal".

As it happened in the comic as well: whoever developed the film wasn't aware that these were photos of She-Hulk, so "corrected" the skin tones in the photos.

I sometimes wonder how much of a hassle it was for Rebecca Romijn during the filming of the X-Men movie. (That "costume" of hers took a VERY long time to apply...)
