Part 2 of my Kyuranger adaptation: Power Rangers Cosmos. This time I go over how I would adapt Ryu Commander, Koguma Skyblue, and Houou Soldier.

Let's get into it

Commander Escala – Cosmic Commander Ranger

    -         The leading authority of the Resistance. Most of the time he would be surprisingly lax for a commander. But when push comes to shove, he’ll show the Black Hole Empire that he’s the commander for a reason. Basically, a less strict Anubis Cruger.

    o Roll call: Draco Star! Cosmic Commander!

Jake Stewart– Cosmic Cyan Ranger

    -         A young boy who somehow managed to sneak aboard the Resistance base. Though he can be rash and headstrong, his bravery and courage are what made him worthy of being a Power Ranger. He would also come to see Izzy and Javi as siblings he never had.

    o Roll call: Ursa Star! Cosmic Cyan!

Zayto – Cosmic Zenith Ranger

    -         After recovering his energy from the fight with Lord Zedd, Zayto goes from the power of the T-Rex to the power of the Phoenix as the Cosmic Zenith Ranger. Think Jason Lee Scott going from Red Ranger to Gold Zeo Ranger.

    o Roll call: Phoenix Star! Cosmic Zenith!

Now I know what you’re thinking. “Why didn’t you use Fern for Cyan? She’s perfect for it!”. Because Cyan’s the height of a child, and Fern’s not that short. Let’s be real here.

Also, why did I bring in Shou Ronpo and not Tarrick for Violet? Well, a few reasons. 1. I feel that Tarrick’s story’s done at this point (plus he has a baby to raise). 2. I already brought in the other non-human Kyurangers, so I gotta stay consistent. And 3. So I can do this.

    - Escala went to the same academy as Anubis Cruger.

    - Zayto’s story is mostly unchanged from Cosmic Fury. He’s still a budding Morphin Master, and he’s still living on borrowed time.

o Zayto also keeps the “Zenith” title. Just made sense to me.

    - Jake may or may not have ties to Justin from Power Rangers Turbo.

    - I thought about calling Escala “Cosmic Violet” or “Cosmic Purple”, but the more I said “Cosmic Commander” the more it just fits.

    - Cyan’s roll call is just “Ursa Star” because “Ursa Minor Star” is a little to wordy for me.

- Escala has a Spanish accent. Because why not?
