Had a lot of fun with this one... I had a little head-canon when playing through X that my Chespin and Pancham were friendly rivals because they did me good right until the end of the game. I got both of them fairly early too!
Chesnaught is certainly interesting to draw... so many spikes.

I love the concept of their story! x3 I have stories with my Pokémon, too, while playing xD I mean, I imagine their stories, and all that, and do some fanarts, and it´s pretty funny :3

When you say that they were friendly rivals, it reminds me of my Soul Silver between my Ampharos and my Typhlosion.
Anyway, the part that actually matters is that I adore this. The way you drew Chespin's face in the first part made me laugh. c:

Personally, I had a female Fennekin as my starter, but I DID have a female Pancham too.
Called the Fennekin Morgana and Pancham as Panchi.

Try evolving it with a dark type on your team, should evolve around level 32. It's a bit of an unusual method to evolution.
