ok... this is the finished inked page of this sketch... [link]it's from my comic "teman"...
juz recently i have started using something new in my comic drawing process... in addition 2 the usual drawing pen & markers 4 inking... now i also use plaka white... it really came in handy in hiding the lil' annoying mistakes in the drawings...
& u can't see where i used it once the drawing's scanned... XD
but i can't bring myself 2 use it on my illustrations though... can't stand putting something other than ink in it...
i am a hopeless perfectionist...

i pernah pakai plaka white, tapi tak la 'handy' bagi i. coz plaka tu tertumpah secara sengaja dengan sendirinya ke atas rambut character i. so... i made daa character short haired finally -_-'".... but when u will publish ur comic in a novel graphic? cant wait^^

well... it mostly depends on how u aply it guess... mula2 i sapu guna brush & i hated it also sebab susah betul nak contro banyak mana kita sapu especially kalu kita nak cover benda kecik je...
my trick... i X guna brush tp aply ngan pencil lead... lebih kemas & minimumkan kawasan yg ditutup ngan plaka 2... b'coz i think u know it's kinda hard 2 redraw on plaka right...?
nanti la... bila dah cukup korum meh... i hope soon la...

well... a good artist never goes by the book meh... if something doesn't suit the way we draw we improvise la 2 make it work...

yeah, i think the same way -no correction fluids to illustrations, i want the original to look clean as well ^^ actually, it was very hard to me, as perfectionist, to learn using correction white in comics, to accept that there's always gonna be mistakes, and the originals are ok to be little messy. ^^
..anyways, awesome linework once again and beautiful details <3

yeah... i could bring myself 2 use it here b'coz in any way the final destination 4 these comic pages r the publishers... & the readers will only b seing the final product in the magazine... so it's kinda okay 4 the original artwork 2 have some flaw in it...
however so far i could only use the white stuff on small mistakes... 4 big mistakes i'd still redraw the whole thing... 
nope... it's originally A4 in size... since that is the size set by the editor... ^^

yeah, when you scan it, the mistakes won't show, that's comforting fact. ^^
haha, if it goes totally wrong, i redraw the picture too -but just one frame, not whole page. haha, sometimes the page is in many pieces.
it's A4?? wow, from the amount of details i totally assumed it to be bigger. Awesome job, respect! ^^ haha, i still wonder how you get the hair right.. : D
well, i draw too in A4 size, and it's hard to draw the tinyest details right. i should really learn to draw in bigger size.. X3 maybe someday

in my case i'd re-draw the whole page... ehehe... talk about a chronic case of perfectionism...
well... i use fine tip pens 2 draw 'em... & the details... all i can say is it comes with a lot of practice & hard work... ^^

i know, practise is the key to everything. ^^ these sound stupid questions to you i bet, but about the hair, i'm curious, do you use brush to dark areas or do you darken it with pen only? tnx ^^
