oh boy, this has been sat around waiting to be uploaded for a while...
Kaiyaru has been scolding me for not uploading (rightly so) :') soo finally gotten around to it haha
I think it's been years since I made a reference for my characters
they need more love..

anyway, Chuck, my blind boyo, LAST update of his design, yes I added scars cause I love torturing my oc's :'D (there will be backstory for the scars, it's not completely random), I won't change him again, nice squeaky clean new ref

Name: Chuck
Gender: Male
Species: Wolf/Dog mix (exact breeds unknown)
Age: Young Adult

Build: He is very small in stature but makes up to it with a sturdy and compact build and large paws. His fur is relatively short with exception to his head, tail/rump and chest and he has a rugged look which is emphasised with the scarring he has on his body. He has been blind since birth and hides his eyes most of the time.

Personality:

determined and adaptable, doesn't let his lack of sight hinder him and makes an effort to get by on his own. He can quickly get used to new surroundings because of his memory, which he uses to 'map out' areas in his mind, thus being able to navigate them after being there only once.

His determination can cause him to be quite stubborn at times, avoiding being dependant on others and not asking for help when he does actually need it.

He can be somewhat self conscious of himself, his blindness, and his eyes so they are usually hidden, making him very hard to read, and that, coupled with his mellow and calm personality can make him come off as impassive and emotionless. However, he is very emotional and sensitive, feeling strongly to those he is close to and being very loyal and appreciative of their support and friendship. On the other hand he can be very brittle and resentful to those who have wronged him in the past.

He is very alert to his surroundings, having no sight means his other senses are heightened and extremely well tuned. This makes him curious to new sensations and he likes to investigate something unknown to him.

His is very honest and blunt, he dislikes sugar coating things since he has been treated that way for so long and he finds it belittling, he prefers getting to the point instead of molly coddling, so he will not hesitate to speak his mind openly, even if it may not be what others want to hear.
