Here's a tutorial how i draw in my way!

1. Lineart - Details: Use a ink brush with colour mode "Multiply" with 78% opacity.
2. Base colour/Shading/Highlights: Use a skin & hair color for base. Take a shading colour for drawing shadow on hair and skin. Take a highlight color on shadows. Blend them between colours with blending soft brush. Add highlights with color mode of "Luminosity/shine (sai)" with 48% opacity. Draw the highlight above the skin and hair.
3. Effects: Color over the layer and alpha locked above the main layer. Use color mode of Darken with 36%.
4. And you're done!
