Approved designs! Not to be used until permission given by *Dark1lady - so no adoptables or auction designs!
For Heaven´s sake, why do I always end up making Icogan designs when I´m bored?
Aaaanyways, I came across a few gradients I liked and wanted to try them out on a horse.
But I am so totally going to keep the first one!
Besides I´ve wanted to try designing one of these Andalusian Icogans that are almost entirely covered by their colourful markings, with only some bits of their natural coat colour shining through…like you can see on the breedsheet here:

XD It´s because there are only a certain amount of these colourful markings allowed depending on the bodytype of the horse.
Andalusians (like the lower row) can get the most and the largest ones, and Arabians (the one above) the least and smallest ones.
There´s a probability that the colour markings are a tad too big on them, so I might need to redesign them.
But each breed has its own rules, like in real life (breeding standards and such).

Well, for horse art roleplaying (because that´s what it basically is) it´s rather easy.
You pick a mare, look for a stallion, look up in the rules if those breeds are compatible, decide on a breeding fee (often a picture showing them together, and maybe a picture of showing one of the horses getting training), and then design the baby based on the parents´ colours.
Or even on their genetics, but there I need some slight help myself. XD

Hehe, well the horses do really breed (or the mares get ensaminated by the vet), but most people don´t draw it because of dA policies - which is nonsense in my opinion...but some people did and the images have ben taken off.
I mean, this is how a stallion´s semen is harvested:
Insert a female horse where the phantom stands and you get what natural breeding looks like.
You don´t see very much, and I´ve seen MUCH worse here on dA.

yeahh I dont look at the recently uploaded front page because theres usually some nasty pic or two up. I mean, I'm fine with artistic nudity but these are usually like "Look I have boobs/vagina/penis/asshole. give me attention" pics and nothing artistic about it.

Agreed.
I don´t mind artistic nude pictures, as you say, but some people don´t seem to get the difference between artistic nudity (or even artistic erotica) and porn or vulgar tastelessness.
