My very 1st attempt on making a tutorial.. ehh I don't think I want to make another CG one unless I'm really bored >.> it took a lot of time..Title: lame again.. LOL
EDITgeez I spelled paint bucket/folder wrong on there LOL
and geez.. I kept using "Than" instead of "then" on there >>> what the heck wrong with me when I type this tutorial.. >.>
***** forgot to say******
- All the brush i'm using in the tutorial are default ones.... - I do not change the shape of the brush when I CG

Finally? yes finally I finish making this tutorial.. was half way through before and than stop and changed.. since I didn't like the example I used before haha.. so I used this new one.. [which was for a contest] --> most of you seen it before I'm guessing xD
well before you look at it.. I have bad grammers and spelling.. so ignore those stupid parts. >.< and also I'm not very good at explaining so if anyone got confuse in any parts.. [feel free to note me about it and hopefully I can answer your question..] [please ONLY note me if you have question from this tutorial.. if its other art question.. I don't think I want to answer it..] <-- since I'm not a pro I'm still learning here so I don't think I can answer any other questions

Beautiful tutorial, this has been very helpful for me... I'm also stuck without a tablet, so finding one that deals with CGing with a mouse is very helpful. Keep up the excellent work, looking forward to that lineart tutorial!

Photoshop --> open the image [take away the white bg if you haven't already --> right click dupelicate layer [move that layer under the orginal picture]
after go to image -->adjustment --> levesl [move the black arrorws to the right]
...
it should change everything to white
than just make the image bigger by draging/pulling the image

Very nice tutorial. I'll give it a try now as I've been trying to color a piece the whole day without making any progress (restarted x times..). Maybe this'll help.

question !! When you do youre skin colour you still can see the line-art.. When I colour the skin I can't see the line-art anymore ( I use SAI and paintshop pro 11) What do I have to do too see the line-art ???

make the colour layer under the lineart layer xD

lol - i use a tablet, and my hand still shakes too much.
but this is really a good tutorial! i'll probably try that with the hair, since i still don't draw or color it well. xD

Thanks for the tutorial!!! But one thing - could you use black type next time for us old folks who have trouble reading. Pink-on-pink is a bit of a strain on the eyes.
