So...yes. They are, if not for the glass. It always amuses me that we tend to forget that cats and dogs- our beloved pets- are hunters.

Yes. I know full well cats and dogs are hunters. One of our old dogs (a dachshund) used to kill mice. We'd find little mouse bodies every now and then when we'd go out into the yard in the mornings. I also made sure any cat I raised knew how to hunt; the other cats helped. CJ actually no longer hunts bugs, once she graduated to mice I think she felt bugs were beneath her (or at least that's how it seems).
