Description
Number Ten in my Forgotten Doll series.After being discovered in a small toy store, a small girl is adopted by a man who was hypnotized by her beauty. The man becomes obsessed with putting makeup on her and curling her hair to perfection. She puts the beauty of the porcelain dolls in the toy shop to shame.
After too long the man, known only to the girl as The Doll Collector, grows bored of the girl. She fights to recapture his attention and grows more and distraught.
She turns on him in the end and runs from him only to find she has lost the true essence of herself in the identity that The Doll Collector made for her.
