Description
This is the second and final page of a short Chipmunks-only story. The mugger's appearance was derived from Randy "Macho Man" Savage, a rulebreaking wrestler who was engaged in a legendary feud with fan favorite Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat in 1987.The Chipmunks are owned by Bagdasarian Productions and their affiliates.

Really nice! This will serve well as inspiration to get back to work on my own Chipmunks comic book. It'll be about 65 strips, divided into 7 issues, and will be a Chipmunks/Star Wars crossover (Chipmunks only). I've got the first six pages done . . . I just need to get back to work on it. Your work will definitely jump-start me!

Those are very nice Chipmunks comics you did there! I enjoyed them a lot, considering I am a fan.

DA is so slow it took me nearly half an hour to look at all ten pages. I love the Chipmunks and Chipettes and I think you did a great job with the characters and their personalities. Despite being a true Decepticon I did like Alvin's tank top. Cute way to cross over

Wow, another fan. Have you ever searched for fansites? If so, you're probably as disappointed with the relative lack of coverage the 'munks get as I am. Well, compared to the wealth of stuff out there for Transformers fans at least!

I haven't really looked for the Chipmunks but I have searched for My Little Pony (which I've finally grown out of after twenty years ) and the Smurfs. I'm more of a TF fan anyway but I'm a sucker for the 80's. I've even pulled out some of my "retro" cd's. *snickers*

So why outgrow MLPs now, huh? Certainly there are MLP fans older than you. I was told about Starscream DRAWN as a MLP, right down to the Decepticon symbol on his hindquarters.
Super cute, I understand. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it.

I found for you, sweetface. And it all depends on whether a product appeals to a fan (MLPs is probably too cutesy and girlish for most women today, though.)
DID YOU DRAW IT DURING YOUR YOUNG TEENS?!! You are MUCH BETTER than I was in my own teens even though I did draw comics back then...your layout is impeccable and so are the arrangement of the dialogue balloons. You did the whole fan-thing beautifully. I envy you.

Yes, and it's in my faves now, thank you.
Hmm. I could have the comics sent to a forensics expert who could authenticate their age if you really wanna know for sure. But it is I who envy you because you stuck with it and now you're a great artist today. For one thing, it might take me years to master the subtleties of color pencils the way people like you and Puffheadz have.

As commenting on each page is a bit too much for me, I'll post my comment here.
Good stuff, I enjoyed reading it.

Nor was I expecting comments on EVERY page, although I was kinda hoping individual items on each one may have garnered a comment from a viewer here or there. I'm glad you enjoyed reading it...that's why I put it up.
One of the reasons I got into the PPGs is that two of them bear a passing resemblance to the Chipettes. Brittany is a pony-tailed redhead and Eleanor is a pig-tailed blonde. But, as you already know, their personalities are totally different.

I think these are quite common charcaters in terms of design. I can name at least three hsow that feature a somewhat long-hairedblonde, brunette with short hair and a redhead with very long hair.
I think that's one of the reasons people suspect Totally Spies to be a rip-off of PPG.

Oh, those are definitely the three most popular colors, and the brunettes can be either black or brown haired. But I was thinking along the lines of pony-tailed redheads and pig-tailed blondes. There are others out there, to be sure, but not too many fit the pattern exactly. The Coppertone Girl comes to mind. In Goof Troop, Pistol was a pig-tailed redhead.
I never thought of Totally Spies as a possible rip-off though.

Neither did I, but it's a common debate between lovers of these two shows.
