History:
Born first in their mother’s second litter, Cúig was one of three very profitable little crossbreeds indeed; a rarity amongst Saraph, as weakened magic doesn’t usually make for a most profitable slave.

As with the litter before theirs, they were swiftly removed from their mother, and placed in the more communal care of the Al-Ayda family’s nursery, where their needs were met, their belly kept full, and their elder four half-siblings were briefly encountered.
Cuig was singled out and made note of when one day they showed up, having sprouted a pair of wings. Their ability to summon up and vanish the wings at will was of particular interest, and the physical side of their training was emphasised from then on out.
When they and their siblings came of age enough to wield their magic, their owners, preoccupied with breeding for the very best of slave stock, were delighted to find that each sibling in the litter possessed at least one strain of magic rather atypical to Saraph or Nombeko.
Cuig was found teleporting little stones back and forth on a day they considered too hot to play- and their siblings were similarly gifted, and similarly found out.
Once they were seven, and able to more-or-less fend for themselves, they were sent out to the plains- at first with mercenary company, but increasingly alone- to help act as a slaver. They were larger than most nombeko, and their teleportation was as useful as their appearance when it came to confusing and scattering their quarries.
Increasingly, as their skill, strength and talents grew, the Al-Ayda Saraphs made a ‘game’ of Cuig’s hunts; sending them out alone and with increasingly-complex lists of ‘requests’ for new stock for their slave-breeding plans. The game came into play as they bet amongst themselves on the crossbreed’s success- weather they would come back at all, how quickly they would do so, or how well they’d retain and match the ever-lengthening list of specific demands.
During the Formaris event, they lost an awful lot of money for the Al-Ayda’s, utterly failing to turn up a single warp totem. They didn’t care, just glad that succeed or fail, they could return for a week or two of pampering and easy meals before being sent out again.
Occasionally, Seacht, their younger brother, would be sent to accompany them on ‘hunts’- but they dislike the pampered white ‘pet’s’ company, and complain about the companionship as much as he complains about the work.

Following the vote to free the Nombeko slaves, Cuig finds themselves somewhat at a loss as to what to do with themselves- and is looking to surveying the Nombeko Clans in hopes of finding somewhere they fit in, with Prosper being the likely canaidate, due to it being the home of a very charming linx.
