Staring, on a clear winters night, to the mist-shoulded mountains they once called home, a pang of sadness struck Delphi. They had wound up at perfect odds to the family they'd long since left behind. Far from gangly pups, now filled out and grown, though they'd likely not see them again any time soon. The doubt crept in and strangled their heart, sometimes; stirring the desire to flee back to Stonehaven and beg forgiveness.
But... no, no, that would be the most stupid thing to do. Kol was there their heart had always yearned for. This was home, this what what they'd always really wanted. They took a breath, looked back in towards the forest. Resolute, they turned in towards the wood, a confidant smile forced in hopes it would become natural, soon.
