That's a beautiful image -- very inviting.
I'd try fixing the blown highlights where the water is crashing. Just a suggestion.

Actually I noticed that golden light only later, after I had taken the shot and I liked it a lot. So I guess it was more luck than judgement

The fact that you took this photograph at such an angle that the water flow switches back and forth adds a great deal of visual interest to it. And I really enjoy the slight underexposure you used to bring out the rich colors.
A question: Why did you include the golden light in the background? While the warmth does not quite follow the cool color scheme you used for the rest of the photo, it piques the visual interest-- it's an unusual and delightful detail.
