Another awesome sprite commission done for me by the ever-talented

One of the weirdest, darkest, and coolest cartoons from the 80's was that of the 'Inhumanoids', like some wild mixture of Hollow Earth stories, Kaiju Movies, Mech anime and a good little dash of Horror thrown in. Ancient evils from deep below the Earth's surface, these giant monstrosities known as the 'Inhumanoids' once threatened our world centuries ago... and are coming back, but they're catching a now blissfully unaware humanity completely off guard. Luckily a group of heroic miners and excavators, the Earth Corps, find themselves shoved to the forefront of this new battlefront... as they're the only ones with the right tools to combat these dark forces... namely their large mech-like suits that were originally meant for excavation and tunnelling safety.

Lucky for them, there's a decent amount of creatures from this previously hidden world that are willing to aid them in this fight.

One of the first, and most prominent (in ads/promotional material/etc.) of the Inhumanoids was Tendril, who looks like someone crossed Cthulhu with some wild plants/vines. Despite this, he's seemingly merely a subordinate to the likes of leader of this monstrous army, Metlar... and the seeming second in command, the dinosaurian zombie monster, D'Compose. Not helped by the fact that he barely seems capable of any speech beyond screams. But due to his versatile and almost indestructible biological nature, he was quite handy for almost every scheme by his master, Metlar.

I frikkin' LOVE this cartoons concept, and finally got around to asking the amazing :iconriklaiondel: to create this awesome sprite for me.

Shame that Hasbro doesn't seem to have much in the way of rights to the property anymore.

VERY awesome work. Though he might be a tad bit smaller than normal for the Inhumanoids. Thanks again to for the sprite work!
