SHE IS ALIVE!It is with shame that after watching the "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows p2" movie... I've come down with a pretty bad case of HP nostalgia...
Alas, that meant that I had seven wonderful books waiting for me on the very top shelf waiting to be re-read as well as endless supplies of fanfiction and oh, we must not forget the movies 
My parents are probably considering getting me professional help...
But my possible removal from my home by the men in white coats aside, it has struck me that despite my apparent obsession love for Harry Potter has been going on for like, over ten years of my life, I have yet to draw even one single fanart of it. Shame on me... Which is why after being particularly motivated by Alan Rickman's simply spectacular performance (that man is so awesome... and twice as more for making my favorite charter in the books even more awesome!) here's Professor Severus Snape (design shamelessly adapted from ~yukipon 's phenomenal works ... yes well... ahem... the art IS colossal... ehem... wile reading in the teacher's lounge.
The scene is inspired by a most beautiful work of fanfiction called "A Little Light Reading" written by Dullastacks - in which Professor Snape finds a jolly little books called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone llamas to whoever guesses what chapter he's probably at right about now
, but story which most sadly is no longer on the internet (if anyone can find a copy of it though, do feel free to share) And yes, those are Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff banners behind him... I meant it as a joke

mmm yes I read it Β ^^ Harry's reaction and lack of self-esteem are a little exaggerated but what if Sev had thought for a moment that harry was not his father!!!! if Sev had not started form this and behaved consequently (it would be as if someone humiliated Sev thinking that he was totally like his father Tobias), s many things in the saga would change in better! or if Sev's portrait in the office of headmaster had spoken to Harry and understand his own mistake towards the boy

Your art is beautiful--I love the diamond pane window and creeping ivy. Also the colors and shadows and expression on his face. Poor Snape--I think that in his adult life only books gave him pleasure!

The amount of BOSSNESS in this picture is over 9000, by any criteria ever conceived.
Also, the nod to Little light reading is awesome, since that story is awesome and what goes on inside the minds of any Snape fan in the universe as they re-read the books. I enjoyed it and I'm not that much of a fan of Snape as the person who made this (fangirl much?).
Also, I hope the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff banners are in indication of Snape making the Slytherin choice and hiding in a plce where no one would go looking for him. Seriously, who would think that the head of the Slytherin house would be found anywhere where the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw gather? No one, that is who!
Also, I guess I should say you rock at painting/colouring/shading/ backgrounds/expressions/details/smirks/pale complexions/Snape/fangirlisms/assorted other art terms I am unaware of, since I'm certain you do rock at all of these things and more, but can't tell, since I'm such a dunce when it comes to these things.
