Description

The son of Tucker and Tate. He’s a coordinator who’s Micah’s main rival in the Hoenn contest circuit. From Ran’s perspective, they’re bitter rivals. Destined foes fated to compete till the bitter end. Meanwhile Micah is chill with him and regards him as his overdramatic kinda friend he sometimes enters contests with.
While Ran mostly fill the role of overdramatic diva, a big part of his hidden motivation to succeed is his twin brother, Ren. Ren is sickly and is unable to travel due to his illness, having to stay at home in Mossdeep. As children, Ran made a promise to his brother to become the #1 coordinator in all of Hoenn, do his brother proud for the both of them. Ren would rather his brother not try to stick to that promise so hard and just have fun while he travels, but he makes sure to never miss any of his brother’s contests when they’re televised.
