Gotta love the atmosphere and presentation of this piece. The bleak overall colour scheme (save the candles), the murky bathwater, and the fabulous candlelight fires (nice job on applying that extra brightness to his left arm

Can't believe I saw this so late, but it's still an awesome surprise omg!! I'm loving the use of flashback on the comic, since I'm eager to know more about Ysma's backstory, and this was a stunning page as well
I have to say I'm intrigued by Devon as well, I'm sensing he isn't exactly most the kind and understanding soul, but I feel like perhaps there's more to him than being sort of a brat haha. Plus the gorgeous portrait does helpt quite a bit, he looks amazing here!! The lighting is so atmospheric and I think you nailed the dimly lit look candles can give, plus I love the way you arranged for the cup and grapes to be slightly out of focus on the front, since they they help to tell the story imo but don't interfere with the focus!
Seriously though, it was so exciting to read this page! Can't wait to see where you take the story now even if i was the last one to see it haha

I'm so glad you like it!! I definitely experimented a lot with this page - with the focus, and the lighting - but I was really happy in the end. I spent forever on it... probably longer than I should have. xD
I can't WAIT to reveal more about Devon. I think you'll be surprised as things unfold (I know I say this like.. every page LOL)

Aww, it was worth it in the end!! You're putting so much effort into the comic, and that makes it even more enjoyable to read in the end (this page is the best example of it!). Plus your comments only hype it more, I'm ready to be blown away by some major plot twists (can't wait to meet Ysma's evil twin or something 
And school is going well so far, but it's definitely more time consuming that I expected! Plus I feel like I need to dial it down with being so much of a perfectionist because I've already redone like 3 assignments and at this rate I won't ever finish lmaoo

I saw the comic page you posted in the Discord and read everything you had up until then, it seems so cool and interesting, I like your comic alot already!
I really like the candles in the background and the lighting they give on him, the blurry candles in the front and the cup look so good too, the water trickling down on his chest, the little luxurious details everywhere, he looks so smug! Well done, you set a great vibe here!

Amazing work as usual! The lighting is perfect, subtle yet charming.
If you know that it is meant to be a comic page it's easy to tell where the speech bubbles go because there is a noticeable space that is somewhat empty.
I love the candles!
