BIOGRAPHY
Early Life         Zahirah's family was small and of meager roots. Her father, Bashir Nazari worked as a mechanic while her mother, Azra, as a waitress. Being that his wife was usually working, little Zahirah spent a lot of her time in her father's shop. Early on he noticed that his daughter was quite peculiar. At the age of three she could identify each any every part of a car, they were the first words she'd decided to devote to memory. As little Zahirah grew, her involvement with his career grew as well. At six she could actively repair most cars, or at least explain how to. By ten she was assisting her father with customers, and at times was known to do better work than he was. She'd tinker around and start creating her own objects, more and more complex with every try. Every science fair project was won by a landslide, every class mind bogglingly simple. She'd been offered to skip grades but her mother had voted against it, hoping to keep her daughter as normal as she could.
    At age eleven she'd taken her talents into the classroom, selling other kids trinkets with tiny motors or remote controlled mini robots that tottered around their desk tops. She'd made a small profit off doing so, hoarding the money under her bed. It was quite young that Zahirah realized she had a passion for making money, and she'd do almost anything to get her tiny hands on it. With her own cash she could purchase anything she'd like, from the newest comic books to tool kits of various makes. She was never very good at following rules, and it seemed making her own profits was an easy way to side step a good number of them.

Adolescence   It wasn't until Zahirah tuned 14 that her obsession with building things and money really got the best of her. Her parents had recently denied her a new Play Station, and she was on the hunt for something to turn a larger profit. When two men strolled into the parking garage with a car that needed to go "as fast as it could go", she found herself a new lucrative career path.
Sneaking out of the house was easy when you knew how to disable the house's alarm systems, and she did so on a nightly basis. She attended street races. Her ability to know what car would win made her money fast. It was perhaps the most enjoyable power trip the girl had ever experienced. The draw back to her new extracurricular activities, was the fact that being a smart high-schooler grabbed a lot more people's attention than being a smart middle schooler. She found herself hounded by teachers, by colleges, by contests and scholarships, none of which she wanted. If she planned on continuing her business Zahirah had to keep a low profile. Which is exactly what she did, and she made quite the show of dumb-ing herself down. Skipping classes or hardly passing them at became her newest hobby. Not that she cared much, she had enough on her mind.
At age 15 she began to work on the cars for people at the races, charging high prices for her modifications. These cars were like none anyone there had seen before. She became somewhat infamous in the community, known to work with several gangs at a time while managing not to become affiliated with one or the other. Many of the car parts were illegally obtained, or so she assumed. Zahirah either used her own bit of ingenuity to create things from old scrap cars or had people with connections acquire those hard to build pieces from overseas.
At 16 she began to race her own cars, ones held for her by other people. She was just as skilled a driver as she was an engineer, and managed to evade police capture for a good long time. Little did she know that a few of them seemed to be onto her, though they seemed a bit more interested in the minor's ability to modify cars than they were with arresting Zahirah for doing so.
C0MMAND0S     Of course, a lucky break can only last so long. Zahari graduated highschool with the highest of honors ( she'd decided to kick it up a notch for senior year, one last hoorah, right? ) but had little intention of going to college, she knew she could make loads of money doing exactly what she was doing right now. At 19 she moved out of her parents house and began tinkering on cars in her own garage. That was until the place caught flames. They'd found a gas leak but Zahirah swears foul play was involved, someone trying to destroy all her designs. Which they managed to successfully do. In the process of trying to save them, she burnt her hand to a crisp. It retained all of its usefulness, but according to her looks "like a weirdly pale raisin."
When the police showed up she was officially caught, but apparently they'd been on her trail for a few months now. It was either take the jail time and get her drivers license confiscated, or go to a military college.
