Media used: Soft Pastel, Colored Pencil, Black Sharpie, and Gold Metallic Sharpie.I did this piece for a friend of mine who is going through a very rough period in her life. The butterfly wing shape is a Yellow Swallowtail, but the markings are inspired by Monarchs.
