It being summer break and all for my friend and I, I'm chilling at her place - which is about 4 hours away from where I live. I had this pretty messed up dream where I killed her. She and I thought it would be a good example to send into the contest. is the lovely dead girl featured here. This is a mix of digital painting, photography and photo manipulation. We used my phone camera instead of one of her nicer ones to portray a "home made" appearance (along with added noise etc.), done in gimp. The real focus on the painting was to give it an unreal look, some of the things in the room almost appear cartoonish this way. There are several small hidden spooky additions. So look closely.PS if you're familiar with my gallery there might appear to be some reused material, that's due to the fact that the same things appear repeatedly in my dreams.

The injury seems consistent with a knife wound to the upper back.

If you can see it (it's hard to see, which is intentional) there's a monkey wrench near vrenn's hand (referring to the one on the ground. ). In my dream she was just on the ground when I came into the room and the demon you see in the corner was laughing and said "now look at what you've done." I had the monkey wrench in my hand. Presumably, I bludgeoned her to death. In my dream she was face up and brutally mutilated. I didn't really want to relive that image every time I looked at this so I had her model this face down.
