Finally the gang's all here!! Many congrats on finally finishing up the Sins and getting their ref done! Next challenge: hammer out the details of their human AU, then do a group ref for THAT. Perhaps you can do something smaller, like a lineup? Hmm...
Anyways, wonderful job on this ref! It's masterfully done, with lovely textures, enough variation to make each section pop, and beautiful art of course. The update cleared up the only critiques I had (grammar, some formatting), so good job with that. Most of all I just really love the characters themselves, AS YOU MAY KNOW; they're so well-developed, and I bet many new readers can tell by these condensed passages alone. It's hard to strike a good balance between "thorough" and "concise" but you got it!
Mmm, some other thoughts:
1) I couldn't help but notice they're all neutral-aligned, hahaha. They're your "gray area" characters, for sure!
2) I just really love how you defined their textures. This is something I and many other artists forget, and it's a neat detail.
3) Can you please remind me: what era do the Sins 'exist'? Was it the modern-most time?

Eeeeee. Can I just finish that greyscale-halfbody-portrait-thingy at first? :v At least actually draw Lust and Glutony and fix Envy's face and a couple of other parts. Envy you're easy to sketch nowadays but damn hard to get right in more proper art.
For me it starts from "concise" and then I need to stretch it. (It is usually said that it's Finnish stereotype but I'd say it's western Finns who are less talkative, eastern Finns instead of damn they DO talk. ... My origins are as west as it's geographically possible. :'v ) Aaaa never finalized but until otherwise said, this can do. (And you'll be there on the first row to know because typo checking. :'v )
1. That is supposed to be just like that. |D No evil, no good. Just a bit quostionable sometimes. Which, in my opinion, is like anybody should be. Plain "good" and "evil" is unrealistic.
2. Thanks man. I would need extra note that "please do not touch anyway".
3. "Modern" yes. Postcreated creatures started to exist about same time as datyles' autarchy collapsed, they're not that old-old but if you've lived a few hundred years and even remember about everything, you're kinda old (many postcreated don't have this long memory span. Will seems young because he can remember correctly like 25 years). "Modern" era is weird sorta postapocalyptic phase before final apocalypse, if thought this far.

Bahahah, you must teach me these conciseness skills!! You now how chatty I can be, and this tends to spill into my character descriptions. Pinpointing key traits and deciding a "top six" may be the best trick for me. I think you nailed it pretty good!
Thanks for answering my question about the timeline! The history of Enneanres is so twisted and fascinating, it would be interesting to someday see it visualized: ancient mortals here... the gods here... postcreateds and modern mortals here. Lots of fun ideas to work with, I'm always excited to learn more.
Also PS: as of this weekend we 100% own this house, so it's time to decorate! In February, the rest of the Sins come out. >D

It's hard to squeeze some sort of shortened version there, I would have soooo much to say about everyone. All of them ended up being something else what I first thought, Lust included. He is conflicted and I like how he is.

They're definitely not those three things at once. But demons? Not technically, but they're pretty creepy and otherworldly even their home universe standards, so some may think them as those. Anime girls? Only one of them resembles that and it's alternate humanized universe anyway, not canon. Porn? Trust me you don't want to know this part.

Unlike the art work of yours I previously reviewed I rather enjoy the strange and unearthly design of the creatures though I don't know why sloth is so small, but hey its your choice of how big small, red, blue these creatures are but I can't help feeling like I could kill sloth with a 9mm pistol... that's kinda weird. I love wrath ' s chaotic design and I feel he is of appropriate size.

I used liner pens, colored pencils, copic markers and opaque white paint for final detailing. Pencils give nice texture, while copics blend them a bit and give smooth finishing.

I want to try colored pencils on promarker too, and never found the time... Also withe acrilic would be a cool tecnique for final dettails.

I like copics, because they make even and intense coloration. Expensive, but great colors.

Wow, impresive character reference. It's great to see all of them together like that. I love their designs and personalities, it's one of the most impressive things that I found in DA.
And I notice the half-hiden notes of "Chaotic Neutral", "True Neutral" etc. God, I don't see them since the gryffons, I was thinking that it was an old idea that you discharded (what it refers, anyway?).
Talking about old things, I'm glad to see old character of you in your tumblr acount, as the gryffons or some poscreated as Stare and Curiosity. Your Universe it's pretty interesting.
(P.D.: I was thinking that Pride was smaller. More like Envy or Greed. And I don't know that Wrath could open her mouth, I think that it was "sealed", or something like that).

Oh yeah the alignment system. I've adopted it from tabletop rpgs I guess (explained for example here ), I still use it sometimes because it tells well something about the character in general, without need to list "good" and "bad" traits as those things can be a matter of opinion, thus not really good. All sins are some sort of neutral.
It has become rather surreal since I started worldbuilding. All the weird critters are still a minority of all population, but they're just soooo much more interesting to focus. :v
(Kudos on you for remembering info blurb like that! Unfortunately I scrapped that because Wrath looked better [more threatening I guess] when capable to open her jaw. So, yeah, that info is outdated. ... No extra comments for Pride, though, for me the creature has always been somewhat that size.)
