Description Pride! If you don't know it already, you should because this has appeared to be one of my favourite creatures (one reason is to what kind of person it disguises itself but not sure if I want to publish it...)

It could actually glow in the dark, because of its "fire" inside...assuming it doesn't do any mind tricks. Pride could appear annoying, as it seems always be the confident master of the situation and easily makes others nervous. On the other hand, it doesn't scorn anybody, and could be said to be friendly in some weird way. It speaks calmly and good language (IF it actually spoke any language. Not sure how it speaks, maybe it just tricks other minds to heard whatever it wants to say).

¤ Prismacolors (=very soft colour pencils) on black paper.
The title is the most accurate description of Pride's behaving I have heard.

Just the next time: either bigger paper or simplier character, Pride was a bit tricky as the paper wasn't very big. x>

Eee it's great to see Pride again! You seem to be on a real Pride-fix lately, but I don't blame you considering how fast he's developing. (I blame his, well, PRIDE; the guy probably loves grabbing your attention) You should really consider posting those pictures of his "disguises", by the way, because dravene!Pride is simply the best. I wonder what he'd look like as a salkahi...?

Anyways, this is such a cool picture! Your made great use of the black background and the angles show off his design very well. My favorite part is how the "wicker face" draws the attention, similar to how eyes would.
He may not have facial features, but his ornateness and delicate hatching work just as well. The curves of his horns is also really neat; you work with light so well. My only critique is that there's no concept to this picture beyond being a portrait. It's like a light-inverted version of "Leather Pride". You're great at story-based pics and creative scenes, so make use of that imagination! Let's see some Pride in action-- concept, concept, concept!
(Maybe interacting with Will? HAHAYEAH IT'S OFFICIAL. In my MoA-headcanon, those two are officially now a character duo. lkajdlkj)

Overall great work on this picture! It's always a delight to see Pride... he is just too fabulous. Go sleazy~

Pride speaks when it gets art of itself. It likes to discuss. I hardly understand how WELL it does just the things it has told it does. At least Pride is not a liar.
(Pride decided to go with a dravene, as they remindered it the most about itself. Salkahis are a quite humble creatures. But Pride's nature never changes no matter it looks, salkahi!Pride would be rather special salkahi by behaving. Those magenta eyes, based on its natural inner glow, are always there.)

Eyeless but still can give the look, that's Pride. |D
Oh yea, I should finally make something worth Pride's essence (with a background! MoA stop being a lazyass.)

Do you know how many things become canon when somebody just mentions something and it is actually somehow good idea... xD

Pööh, randomgomecatit on ihan yhtä taidetta kuin Ylpeys. (Taiteen laatu on aina tulkitsijan simissä taasen...) Mut sitten kun saat ne sun Prismat niin tee itsekin joku tarpeeks true artti tälle paprulle, koska ne toimii.

I still have no clue what soft colored pencils are, but this looks good x> I wouldn't have expected that pink and purple even work well on black paper but they do as it seems. My brain is still tricking me with Pride having a face, thick insect-antennas that move in wind, spiky big hair, three ears and floating earnings |'D I can't help it and wonder what people ACTUALLY see in this. I can't take it too serious. But I like its overall head design a lot.

I like how the floating items are very angled and three-dimensional here.
And awwww, no online stage for the gayish Mr.Punk street performer

They are soft. Not sure how much experience you have from different brands and different colour pencils but for example Polychromos' are semi-soft, Prismacolors are waxy, have vibrant hues (and are visible on dark papers) and blend together easily.

See? Pride is confusing and seems to do it to you too. |3 It just DOES it. (.....I'm not sure either why it looks like it looks...except that it looks just RIGHT to be WRONG.)

Would need too much explanation. |'D Or then couldn't be explained at all. Probably the latter.

Nice work! I was drawing on black paper with my Prismacolors the other day but it wasn't very good. I find your pic inspiring!

Thanks. cx ...Hmmm some papers just don't work with Prismas. This was I guess by Derwent (quality again is the word), DIN A5s (I got a couple of pages from a friend who asked me to try this paper).

Mine is Windsor and Newton and A5. But the Prismas worked fine on it and everything, it was just my drawing was rubbish because I didn't feel inspired that day. It didn't come out how I wanted it to. Seeing your picture on the black paper has inspired me to try something different with my own.

Do it! *throws inspiration pills* And add some magenta colour or a leather hat if necessary, to make things better.
