Maybe not totally in the spirit of the meme since I don't remember being particularly proud of the older picture, but I came to think of it as I was making the newer one.

It will soon be a year since I began drawing more regularly with the goal of drastically improving my drawing ability. I haven't arrived at a point where I feel I can produce high quality art yet, but I aim to make the newer one look as bad by comparison as the old one does here once another year has passed.
