Critique time as you requested it What needs work
- your subway itself by this angle looks too small for the over all subway level; by this angle it looks as big as the two crates in the foreground. Try angling your camera more, over the head (up above) angles are boring and can warp your perspective.
- The tunnel is way too small, if you look at references of subway tunnels..they are much closer to the subway, providing very very little space between the walls and subway. Bring the tunnel in some more to get a more realistic feel
- I know you're going for a resident evil, creepy kind of feel; which is fine, but i think if you alter the perspective of the camera to a more interesting angle, it'll help make it look sharper. Right now there's a lot of black and we're missing a lot of the details and grunge you put in. What's good
- textures are very nicely done, i love the added bits of grunge around the level.
- the modeling is simple but it works: i can easily tell what each object is supposed to be.
- i like the added lights above, i wonder do any flicker? flicker would definitely work here Overall
- good textures, good models and pretty good level design.
- the tunnel is too wide, subway looks too small, and the blackness everywhere doesn't give off the RE effect, and loses the details, you can still have a dark feeling to the level, without having it blackened, but thats more opinion based.
good job! for one month, this was done well.

Wow! Thank you very much for the critique.
Camera perspective was set this way so I could show the majority of content in one screenshot, not specifically because it's the camera of this Resident Evil style. Our mod actually took a first person perspective of Resident Evil instead of a third-person one.
As for the tunnel yeah I agree with you my size is completely off. The lighting above does flicker and as for the atmosphere, it is set in an abandoned subway tunnel.
Textures and most models are standard generic models that came with the Source Engine, so most of the textures and models we were working on where created after this shot. They are placeholders for now.
The simple fact is the lighting is dark, but could be darker. My only worry was that the idea is not to make everything pitch-black or else it would be more of an annoyance to the player. It's already pretty dark as it is. If you look at the lighting in a lot of the original Resident Evil games they are actually quite lit.
I'm gonna take your critique to work now, work on this tunnel and detail it a lot more!

Thanks very much, I take pride in the atmosphere I try to create precisely with lighting and texturing. So thank you for the compliment =]
