People sometimes have distorted views of what is really there. Sometimes clarity is not achieved by the eyes.:Edit:

I might as well let everyone in on a secret... The front cart and the back sections aren't actually connected. In fact, they are even on different tracks.
I feel that adds to the title.

Amazing. The dirty swamp-stale-water bit actually made a great reflection.. I think it would look better if you included a bit more sky but nevertheless it's a very meaningful pic!

This picture is really inspiring. The reflection is really clear. I looked at the water against the sand/dirt by the railroad track and it looks like the ground just ends where the water starts. I don't know if you can see what I'm talking about but it just looks really cool to me. Nice job!

wow.. totally awesome... the brown tone works great with the trains, but the reflection of the skinny track really looks nice... the only thing i dislike (and this does ruin it in a way) is that you can see the buildings in the background.. if you couldn't.. it would've added antoher illusion of 'where'.. it would've looked like a track going through a body of water or something

I enjoy reading the descriptions you've written for your pieces, although I think I enjoy this one the most. You're very smart, if not philosophical. And you always seem to come up with the most interesting and beautiful photographs, this one especially. The way the sun is somewhat blocked by clouds is a good effect on the rusted train cars, and the distorted imaging of the train's reflection is eye catching, it was the first thing I saw. Keep up the fantastic work.

Distortion is remarkable man! I can't find a single flaw in it! The sky and the water reflection are worldly and the train seeming to head off into the distance just adds a wonderful touch. The border is great since it adds rather than take away. Excellent!
