Er, well, it's more of robot from space... literally. They come from another planet after all :'D
So. After I think two-- yes TWO-- years, I've finally managed to draw Sideswipe descently. I owe my thanks to IDW publishing with All Hail Megatron because it provided me with a Sideswipe design I was able to draw. Go 200-something Deluxe Universe Sideswipe!
Turns out using the line tool to outline art work is great for robots. Organics... not so much, but robots-- yes.
It would seem cell shading... or what's cell shading for me is the way to go for me, too. Highlighting needs work obviously, but I'll get there! D:

oh wow-- thank-you, especially coming from you considering your amazing work. I'l still trying to figure out the best brushes for my photoshop, especially for highlights and outlining. (It's kind of annoying to use the line tool all the time.)
