Description The Hadean. Watercolours, 2009.

The Earth, 4.5 billion years ago, soon after the impact that formed the Moon. The scene is based on the tradional beliefs that suggest the planet was much hotter than it is today and covered with molten rocks.

And to think pretty sun us humans are gonna make the Earth revert to that state.

Planets, if you wanna keep living, don't develop life, plz.

To be honest everything in the Universe is pretty much pointless, because soon or later everything comes to an end. I really don't think we're capable of turning our planet in something like this.

Like Michael Cricthon's character Ian Malcolm says in "Jurassic Park" novel- We can't destroy the Earth. The planet will outlive our stupidity. The only thing we can do is to save ourselfs. (this is not exact quote)

I was like, why are there cracks on the sun? Until I realised it's the moon...

Very nice painting, I could imagine it on my wall.

(By the way, those plumes of smoke/vapour totally look like ghosts )

Thank you!

I was worried about that the people wouldn't recognize the Moon.

I think people who know what the Hadean is will recognise it

Sooner or later

Thank you!

The point was to make people who are looking at the artwork to feel like traveling back in time. The early Earth was really interesting place.

Yeah, it was like in hell but the things had changed pretty fast. Which was good for the life I suppose.
