Okay, maybe I could have come up with a catchier title, but that's what this deviation is; it's an investigation that I conducted into how the look of deviantART has changed over the six years that it has been online.

This investigation took nearly a month to do. It is basically around a dozen screenshots of deviantART's home page and a description of how it has changed.

This took a lot of work, so I would be grateful for any feedback (good or bad). I encourage you all to take a look at it, I think you will all find it interesting to see how this community has evolved.

One last thing: it is quite a large image, I apologize for that. Any smaller would make some of the things in the screenshots hard to see.

Edit (19/05/2010): Due to studies and other life stuff, I won't be getting round to updating this for the rest of the year (or graduation, whichever comes first), so v7 is not in the current version of the deviation (I am liking v7, though).
