Here's the thing I keep imagining but no one seems to pick up on... all though it isn't exactly slash.
Imagine in the future of Arthur and Merlin.
Arthur is king, Merlin is the wizard of them all. So Merlin does a lot of standing around looking all powerful and mighty in his blue robe and stuff. no one really dares to go near him and no one dares to as much as questioning him. to ask something from Merlin is considered to go to like the highest source in the world and you must approach him with the deepest respect. And then Arthur goes all like. "Remember when you used to polish my boots and I poured buckets of dirty water down on your for own amusement? that was fun."

Ah Christ, some kind of white knight standing before king Arthur and Merlin in deep respect, he is so nervous because these are two people of legend, and his entire life have just been building up to this point, and then Merlin would go all like to Arthur. "Your still a prat you know."

And the knight would go all. "waaa?"
