Here's another view of Melissa, long-lost descendant of Sir Isaac Newton. No. Seriously. Look at this.

Look at his hair. Now look at hers. The resemblance is uncanny. But Melissa really could be a descendant of Newton, now that I think about it. She's a genius. But her hair looks nothing like this. It's not as pale, nor is it as...clumpy. Bleh. Anyway, this is her Christmas present. I've never given her a gift before--not even for her birthday--but she deserves one now. I've mooched off her so many times this year, so this is my way of repaying her. It's not much, but I hope it'll show her how much I appreciate all she has done for me.

I hate the hair. Absolutely hate it. But finals, online courses, and other dolls are calling, so I have to let it be. The dress was a nightmare. I made it out of this ancient blue shirt of my mom's that frayed if you just looked at it the wrong way. I had a little help from a medieval skirt pattern, but it didn't really do much for it. Ah well. The black lining was made from some sort of sheer sash, and it had to be sewn on by hand, explaining why it looks rather nasty. D: The sleeves, which look funky from any angle, were also made out of another shirt of my mom's. No shoes for her. Elves don't wear shoes, silly. They don't look quite so frumpy either... >__>

Took around 2 weeks or so. Hope Melissa likes it.
