I've heard, that Australia has banned more games than the rest of the behaviour-concerning countries.

It's wrong.
Iraq and iran have around 100, whilst we've only banned 12 from being owned

I can't speak for Australia, but the USA's justice system sure does.

I am a US citizen, but I'm going to put this on my page because I have an Aussie friend who rp's with me sometimes, and he has told me how much your justice system sucks.

It really does. Recently, a man who tortured his fiancee got eight years in jail, minimum of six without parole.

Wait... what? That. Is. Nuts. Why am I, a fellow Aussie, not aware of this?
Some freaking people...

Here in spoiled ol' America, people will sue over the stupidest things. One old woman sued McDonalds because she spilled her coffee, one disgruntled atheist sued her high school not far from where I live because of a historic banner that had a Christian prayer on it, and another woman sued Walmart (a chain grocery store) because she tripped and fell over her own bratty kid. I was actually fantasizing about moving over there to Australia or New Zealand, because my country is going downhill.

I've heard of those cases... I declare we start a new country with good ol' fashion justice.

Good ol' fashion justice?
Hmm...I like it. It will be like the American Wild West...a sheriff gathering a posse to go O.K. Corral on rapists and robbers.

I read about that old woman a while back. Just...ridiculous. I saw one woman threaten to sue some dude because he walked into her in a grocery store and accidently knocked her expensive, brand new purse out of her hands. I was considering moving to Canada :U

You should look at the African justice system ... what you mentioned is classed as pretty severe in SA
Rob a KFC? Pfft, give the cops a bucket of chicken and they don't book you
Rape someone? No problem, 3 years if you get a heavy sentence
Hijack someone and cause harm to the people in the car? Pfft ... what now? Stop wasting the police nap time! Suck it up man!
Domestic violence? Hmm, sure ... what would you want the police to do about that again?

Nearly all legal systems are tailored to the criminals. What they should be doing is gathering citizens randomly to create new laws. (do they already do that?)

They also banned Saint's Row IV despite an R18+ rating being introduced, NEVER FORGET.

Tae-Rai In reply to Traxxious [2013-08-22 05:28:47 +0000 UTC]
Well, that's more suited for the rating classification board, not the justice system

I know, but they banned it because of anal probes AND drugs, seriously, what the heck?
