SRC Brick & Steel Border Counties Rally 2011Photo & post processing by myself.
HDR created by taken 5 exposures from one jpg. Each exposure was set at 0.5 stops apart. Dropped in to photomatix and further processed in Photoshop.

Yeah drop it in to Camera Raw it opens Jpegs and Tiff files as well as Raw files or use photoshop adjustment layers.
You have less control with jpeg over Raw but sometimes you dont need it.
I think I went 1 full stop either side at 1/2 stop intervals. ie -1,-.5,0,+.5,+1.

what the hell?! this is perfect! I wonder why you create 5 exposures from a JPG? Why don't you use the RAW format of your cam?

Usually I shoot in raw but I had just bought a Canon 7D which ate through my 4Gb CF card in about an hour (25MB in raw). I had 100 shots left in Raw or 500+ if I switched to Jpg and about 100 cars left to come through the stage. It was the lesser of too evils being that nipping to the local camera shop wasnt an option
I wounldnt recommend HDR using jpg expeicailly if you are taking it from one exposure but this one didnt turn out too bad. A little dark maybe.

Yes that's the best you can do in such a situation.
Sometimes I've the same problem, especially on vacation or trips to cities like New York... I'll run out of memory very fast
The last 100 photos were always jpg, guess I've to buy a second SD card.

Thanks, you do get a lot of stones thrown at you as it goes passed but I tend to protect my 7D more than myself!
