Akashi initially comes off as a very distant person, quiet and often lost in thought. It's hard to approach him due to that scary face of his, but under that he's a somewhat caring and honest boy who's just a little quick to anger and more of then than not reckles, stemming from a certain degree of over-confidence, he believes everything will be solved if he beats it hard enough.

He's quick to lose focus of things when he's at idle, but gets carried away easily due to his hot-headed nature, usually drawn out by his fighting tendencies, but is often kept in check thanks to his slow thinking. He's really protective with those whom he befriends, despite his usually expressionless and apathetic face not showing it. He has a hard time taking hints or even reading the atmosphere due to some dense wall surrounding his brain or something, but it's hard to get subjective ideas across with him, since he has the habit to be really literal about things.

Akashi's got a good eye for details at least, which really helps with his wood carving, one of the few activities he's able to keep his focus on, and yet another thing to keep his fuse out, and once he sets his mind to something, he'll diligently move towards that goal, with any and all methods he knows of.

B I O G R A P H Y
Born with a serious skin condition, Akashi grew up wrapped in bandages, under constant surveillance in a hospital due to the unstable nature of his condition, which caused him agonizing pain and even some small cuts and other wounds. Thanks to his life in the hospital, Akashi never got to have much to do other than sit and wait, making him grow apathetic and somewhat distant, barely getting any contact with anyone other than his family due to the gravity of his condition. Hope showed itself to him after his 6th birthday, where his quirk began cutting through his bandages, as he learned the reason of his skin condition being like that. Scales began tearing through his skin and eventually wrappings, initially in a very painful way, but then found themselves slowly popping out from his tissue in a more natural manner. Recovering from the hospital was as quick as month as his quirk finally stabilized and adapted to his body, his mother brought up the idea of becoming a hero one day, and how his newfound quirk reminded her of a dragon...'A dragon hero...yeah, I like that!'. That reaction was the moment when little Akashi decided to become a hero, and as he resumed frequenting school, he began training his body with the aid of his grandfather, going through intense and harsh physical training in order to get his body in a better condition, one where he could fully utilize his quirk’s still growing potential. It wasn't until his final years of middle school, when Akashi got a little brother. His outlook on what a 'hero' was changed drastically as he considered that he needed to be an example for his younger sibling to look up to, and so, his goal became the driving force that pulls him along the path of heroics. Become a strong hero worthy of his little brother's praise, that can protect as many people as he needs to until his body is worn out.

Description: It gives the user a body befitting of a dragon, boosting their strength greatly, as well as adding some fire to their breath.

Akashi’s quirk gives him certain aspects of a fantasy dragon, such as the ability to breathe and resist fire up to a certain degree, and enhanced strength and toughness thanks to the scales covering his body.
Abilities:
Fire Breathing: Akashi is able to breathe fire for a certain amount of time, currently 10 seconds being the longest he can go at maximum output, getting to 1000°C. He can make it last longer by putting less power into it.
Maximum output is 1000°C, making his breath akin to a flamethrower, though it only lasts 10 seconds due to extreme strain in his lungs and fire gland, located right between them, which gets compressed and releases a gas that reacts with the carbon dioxyde he exhales, allowing his fire breathing.

Dense Musculature: Due to the nature of his quirk, his muscles have been strengthened by the same material that makes up his scales, making him not only stronger, but tougher.
The material is produced within his bones and is then absorbed by the muscle tissue at very slow rates, meaning muscle building is still necessary as more and more is accomodated.
The excess is what strengthens his scales further and is also responsible for their regeneration.

Hardened Scales: Akashi’s scales are capable of absorbing and releasing heat through steam, but they wear out with time and become brittle, eventually peeling away to give room to newer, stronger ones.
The scales naturally become brittle over time if they're not put under stress and forced to regenerate or regrow, depending on the damage done. When growing new ones it might take around two weeks for the toughest ones to grow back.As of right now, Akashi's scales can withstand 700 newtons of force (71 kg), meaning he can block a bullet shortly after it has been fired.
They regenerate very slowly (1 cm³/h (one cubic centimeter per hour)), meaning the larger ones may take up to a week to completely regenerate.

Drawbacks:

  ◇ The growth of his scales cause him some bad rashes during the initial process;

    ◇ His fire breathing causes him to overheat rather fast, and after cooling down, there’s a chance he might lose his voice for a while;

  ◇ Less defense means stronger discharges of adrenaline to help numb incoming pain;

  ◇ He may lose the ability to make rational decisions in drawn-out fights if his adrenaline levels are too high.

    ◇ He completely sheds his scales once a year to give room for tougher ones;
