China is continuing with their Sentai-like series with the third team now, Rescue Engine. First was the mythological theme, then space, now vehicles. This one's designs are pretty awesome, and I really wanted to make something new and not copy-n-paste and not a Kamen Rider. Because the one/two things left in Ghost are boring and Drive's Kamen Rider Heart is horrendous looking.

I guess per the title, the franchise is called Giant Saver, not Battle Strike Team. I dunno, I kinda wish I knew the language but w/e. We'll go with "Giant Saver" because that seems to be what some boxes describe the robos as, despite the fact that they ya know, destroy monsters. So since that's the case, gonna have to rename my other pics.
Red and White make one robo; Black and Yellow a second; and Blue has his own. And of course, all five can combine to form a hodge-podge super robo. It's kinda funny how now China has a neon-accented rescue-themed ranger team; Tomica Hero has a couple; but Toei still hasn't done a rescue team with neon accents. Fingers crossed, a pure-vehicle rescue Sentai team would be very welcome.

Rescue Red. Vehicle is a fire engine.
Rescue White. Vehicle is an ambulance.
Rescue Yellow. Vehicle is a construction vehicle.
Rescue Black. Vehicle is a demolition/bomb disposal vehicle.
Rescue Blue. Vehicle is a fighter jet.

I really like the designs. Especially the two-toned spandex coloring. I dunno why, but it just looks really nice, especially on Red, Yellow, and Blue. I kinda wish Black had a bit more of a grayer tone rather than black and slightly darker black (Archer turtlenecks!). And it'd be nice if White's pink was a bit less bright, but hey; still great designs. Their symbol is cool right in the center of the chest, and while they were difficult to make, the belt symbols are cool too. The helmets are pretty awesome too, though again, black visor on black helmet with no division is kinda tough. Also on the helmets, I like that their lights allude to a rank-type system, I like doing that myself. Red also gets a power up later on, so I'll be making that eventually. But for now, this core team is pretty cool to have done.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a sixth because another color would be welcome; although I like the team's designs, I'm not a fan at all of the color combo, Red-Blue-Yellow-Black-White. It is kinda funny that these teams seem to struggle with using just a pure yellow for the ranger as this one is more amber; Space Deleter's was kinda off gold; and the original was kinda de-saturated.
