Well, ain't this somethin'! Only two episodes late this year!

Geats is looking like yet another form/design heavy season. I guess it makes slightly more sense in a Rider-battle/"Grand Prix" type story. But Ryuki was the same type of premise and had what, 15 Riders with generously 17 designs...maybe 20 if you count recolors. Whatever, this is how Rider has been trending in recent years: just distract the audience with something shiny every damn episode so they're never bored.

All that said, Geats' design is cool. At least, the double armored designs are cool, I do think any part that has the Entry Form half showing feels bare. Starting episode one with the end of the previous Desire Grand Prix was interesting so I'm curious to see how many "rounds" are actually played. Part of me think each "round" will end with Geats getting a power up and rounds after said powerup will have stronger and stronger baddies to keep up with power-scaling.

On top is Entry Form, Magnum/Boost, and Boost/Magnum. The bottom simply has the Magnum and Boost forms with each half being blank. This is honestly the most amount of work I've done for Rider in years. Even more than Revi and Vice simply because Geats here also has his blank Entry form. I honestly shudder to think of the "upgrade forms" Geats will get and just how garishly they'll clash. Magnum and Boost here vibe very well together and I think introducing another color into the mix is going to be off-putting.
