Description
This here is the Megabattle armor for Eric/Quantum Ranger from Power Rangers Time Force. It's a pretty goofy looking thing: big ol' roller skates, gun/blade wings, and a big visor. I think it's pretty odd looking, but that's just me. I remember the actual character of Eric/Quantum Ranger pretty fondly as a badass, but this really hurts that, haha. I think it would've been much cooler if he had gotten some futuristic knight-like armor. I mean, Wes/Time Force Red gets medieval-looking armor, so it would've been awesome for Eric/Quantum Ranger to balance that out with a much more futuristic armored knight upgrade. But this is what we got, armor and roller skates.That's it for the megabattles, and for the PR-exclusives for Power Rangers Time Force. Now it's on to the remainder of the battlizers, starting with Wild Force. I hope to have that one up in the next couple days.

I think keeping Eric alive is one of the few cases of a change to the Sentai I think was a good idea.

Like Shane, his battlizer is his hawk zoard that made his armor.
Maybe S.P.D Cyber mode cause its simple.

i'd count the Red Dragon Ranger (Jason with the dragon power coin) since it is armor, but also the one Carter had in lightspeed rescue reminds me of something from an anime which is cool, but also the mystic force one was not too bulky but cool looking

Well, not everybody hates these things. Some people (including me) pay no mind to how "bad" they may be, and we just enjoy them for how cool they look in our opinions. I'm just saying.

Take your time with the Wild Force one, its got loads of detail from what i remember from the show

It could've been better without the skates & the big-ass visor. Keep the gun/blade things, but put them on his forearms for better access. Maybe a more knight-ish design like you said, similar to Time Force Red's Battlizer.

i wonder why they gave eric a battlizer like armor, i know it was to sell toys but outside of that its like "... but hes the sixth ranger, they hardly get anything special that didnt already come from japan"

Yea, I dunno. Probably just to mess with people who want to include Quantum in the "red" category rather than "extra ranger" category. Same reasoning he's in Forever Red.

I'm with you Taiko I was never to keen on this armor. I would have liked something more future tech. Or something related to the Q-Rex. I wish they would have continued with the Mega Battles in a few on the other series, but alas they did not. Any way awesome job. Keep up the great work

Thanks very much. Half of me wishes the battlizer "legacy" was continued in other series, if for no other reason than curiosity. But the other half is incredibly happy battlizers weren't included in some.

I agree, some of the series I would have liked a battlizer, but it doesn't necessarily work in them all. But if anything I would have loved to have seen something in MMPR.

MMPR would've been kinda cool. But that series (at least the first season) relied so heavily on source footage. The battlizers not only cost money to design and make, but also to film. So in the first MMPR season, the PR franchise probably didn't have the cash for it. But once the franchise took off, American-made footage became more likely. But again, sadly, that just gave us the ninjetti suits.

True, in the beginning the money wasn't there but later in the second or third season it would have worked. And don't forget the Metallic Armor, sparkly spandex is a must have

The idea of the armor could have been cool. I would have hoped they'd have used the suits from the movie as the Metallic Armor instead though. That I think would have been better.
