Goodness. This was a massive pain to pixel. I know there's been some pictures of this guy roaming around for a while, but finding actually decent pictures for reference on where things get placed and how...whole other story. Took a lot of searching to find some quality pictures for me to feel confident about making him. Finally got the push to make this after seeing a short look at it in action in a recent promo.

This is, as far as I know, that battlizer for the Red Ranger, Jayden, in Power Rangers Samurai. Overall, it's pretty neat. Part of the kanji for armor (甲, こう, 'kou') is used for the center piece of the battlizer and that's pretty clever. Better part of the kanji than the entire thing, since it's not exactly simple like 'kou' is.

Pros: I like that it's a crimson color and not just more red slapped on. I like the very armored and samurai feel of the design.
Cons: It's sooooo clunky-looking (even in the brief time it was in a promo it looks like it hinders movement so much). The face for a belt...what? The legs could've included some more red and gold, I find it odd the designers used so much crimson coloring on the lower half.
