Back at it with the Boom comics Power Rangers, here's the first of a few Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pieces.

April in Pink. I wasn't originally gonna include her here since she's not a turtle, but w/e.

First things first, new bases. They're shorter and stockier than my standard bases. Akin to what like, a Wolverine/Logan should be, I guess. Their helmets also get a bit more round to account for their heads. It just gives an overall impression of being squished, but I do think it's more accurate to the comics and TMNT "vibe" then just slapping turtle shells on my standard bases. And then with shells. Their shells seem to kinda vary in the comics? I tried to capture what the shell pattern is most commonly like on the pages of the comics, because various cover artists have apparently different interpretations/designs, and then the toy designs are again different. It's really weird and inconsistent. Same with the eyes showing through the visors - sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, sometimes the eyes are colored all red, sometimes they're colored to their respective ranger colors - sooooo I just opted for no eyes being shown.

I will likely not be making any version of the TMNT squad "unmorphed". In the vein of X-dimension or w/e stuffs, I don't think the kaiju Power Rangers are gonna happen - my understanding reading some of the comics is that they're not "morphed" there, it's more of a mutation or whatnot, so those kaiju forms aren't "Power Rangers suits", just the characters as monsters. It's a weird hair to split, but I'm splitting it.
