Comments: Happy Birthday, A.J., wherever you are. Missing you, hun. This took far longer than I expected it to, actually. I started getting picky about the coloring and such. Starting to think this figure doesn't actually have a gender. It's just an individual, like all of us, whether supernatural or not. Please pardon my newbish skills in Photoshop, too; I'm still accquiring skills in it. ._.;; Please full view -- there's no justice to this piece otherwise. I really like this. It's drawn beautifully, and the nice, subtle shading and coloring give the figure a soft, understated texture. I especially like the original way you did the feathers (wings?). I've never seen it done this way before, and the manner in which they're drawn adds a great deal of interest to the piece. Although this is nothing like Art Nouveau, there's something about the style here that reminds me of Aubrey Beardsley. Very nice work!
